![]() ![]() Until recently they were still a required (for full functionality with Swiss) part of a GCLoader setup, but now with an up-to-date version of Swiss and the latest GCLoader firmware the GCLoader has write support, so it can manage Swiss's configuration files and patches by itself. They connect an SD card directly to the Gamecube's EXI bus and can also be used to load games and homebrew from an SD card. The SDGecko and SD2SP2 are SD card adapters, again predating the GCLoader. You put Swiss on the GCLoader's SD card as "boot.iso", Swiss launches and from there you can load all your other games on the SD card. But to keep things simple, on a basic level you'll want to use Swiss as the GCLoader does not have a menu/file browsing function of its own. ![]() Swiss a homebrew program that existed long before the GCLoader and has a multitude of functions.
